Welcome to our site for a series of walks around Wellesbourne and surrounding villages in Warwickshire

 

This site offers six walks around the beautiful South Warwickshire countryside compiled by a group of passionate and experienced local walkers.  Using the map on the following page, you can view each area and download PDF maps for each walk with details on distance, approximate time, directions and various snippets of interesting points.

 

The walks came into being after an initial consultation with Newbold Pacey & Ashorne Footpath Group to develop a guide of six walks surrounding Wellesbourne in South Warwickshire with points of interest and various places en-route such as pubs and local shops.  The guide includes all maps of walks, points of interest, information snippets, sponsors and ofcourse, all the walks and details.

 

Sponsored and supported by the county council and local business, the project took approximately 4 years from concept to completion and the distribution of over 13,000 guides in the first year of publication and 4,500 in the first 3 months alone.

 

This website is a natural evolution of the pamphlet and reflects the printed content with the addition of being able to view the maps online and download printable PDF’s of each walk.
